Basic Line2 B&P

Basic Line 2 B&P is intended for segments where the treatment time is shorter (up to 2 hours) and where getting in and out of the chair is important. A position for easy sitting and standing is stored on the handset, as is the safety position.

Thanks to the high-angle leg section, the Basic Line2 B&P can be accessed from the front – as easily as a chair. The fold-up armrests also offer convenient and safe access from the side.

All Basic Line 2 B&P upholstery is manufactured by hand in Germany to the highest quality standards. The seat, backrest and armrests are upholstered with high-performance foam and provide the patient with a pleasant sitting sensation. The upholstery is particularly comfortable – for that extra bit of comfort.

Already included as standard:

  • 2 drives: Quick and gentle adjustment of back, leg and seat sections. The segments can be adjusted simultaneously (synchronised adjustment of seat and leg section).
  • The multifunctional armrest can be operated intuitively with just one lever and brings the arm into an optimum position to ensure safe, comfortable and effective blood donation and blood collection.
  • Armrest and leg section overload protection: in case of overload, the armrest and the flared leg section flex, thus increasing safety and protecting against damage
  • Independent height-adjustable pillow with one hand
  • In an emergency, Basic Line2 B&P can be adjusted to a head-down position at the touch of a button.
  • Easy-to-grip and clearly laid-out handset with mechanical locking mechanism.
  • Multi-layer high-performance foams and selected upholstery fabrics offer a high level of comfort and support well-being, while at the same time offering excellent durability and dimensional stability even under heavy and continuous use.
  • 75 mm castors, individually braked
  • Equipotential bonding
  • Safe working load: up to 175 kg

Centrally operated, multifunctional armrest

The armrest can be adjusted to the desired position with just one lever and even rotated completely so that the patient’s arm can be optimally positioned during blood or plasma donation, blood collection or when carrying out intravenous injections. It is intuitive to use, making it easy to learn even for new employees.

Innovative overload protection

In case of overload, the armrest springs back, increasing safety for patients getting in and out of the chair. At the same time, the overload protection prevents damage and reduces repair costs. An investment that pays off. For the first time, the leg section also has innovative overload protection to prevent damage and reduce costs.

Optimised hygiene and pleasant feel

Smooth surfaces and a three-part lying surface ensure quick and easy cleaning, even in the spaces in between. The absence of hook-and-loop fasteners as a fastening method optimises hygiene conditions.

The headrest cushion is also permanently protected from dirt with a PVC protective cover.

The pleasant feel and outstanding material properties ensure long-lasting, easy-care and comfortable use.

In an emergency, Basic Line2 B&P can be adjusted to a head-down position at the touch of a button.

The handset is easily accessible by the patient or donor, and two drives ensure quick and smooth adjustment of the back, leg and seat sections. The segments can be adjusted simultaneously (synchronised adjustment of seat and leg sections).

The Basic Line2 B&P enables a comfortable, slightly reclined posture with slightly raised legs to stabilise circulation.
